Have you ever heard of a roller party? Neither have I. But apparently it’s a thing and I’ve got a flyer to prove it. August 10^th, 2013 Boston will host one of the coolest (and most bizarre) events I’ve heard of yet.

 Taking place at Pier 10 Park in the Marine Industrial Park, Roller Party will include a temporarily transformed roller skating rink. And, since the event has gained a significant amount of momentum and support, including production by the Mayor’s Office of Arts, Tourism and Special Events, and sponsors like Gillette, metroPCS, Highland Street, and the Boston Urban Music Festival, it’s going to be ridiculous. With musical performance by Gilbere Forte, Bridget Kelly, DJ Knife & ICA Teen DJ collective, local artists, a graffiti wall, TONS of Food Trucks and more, it’s destined to be awesome.
