No matter how old you are, breakfast remains the best way to start the day. Young Professionals in Boston love their breakfasts, brunches, and everything in-between.  Here are a few of our favorites around the city that will help you start your day off right.

Blackbird Doughnuts in the South End is a perfect stop to grab a bite to eat on the way to work. This small shop may have no indoor seating, but with warm weather on the way, Blackbird Doughnuts is the best place to get unique gourmet doughnuts made from scratch. Come watch the team crank out their inventive baked goods which combine interesting flavors with classic flavors.

Bagelsaurus located in Cambridge is a bagel bakeshop and cafe that specializes in handmade, slow-fermented bagels. These undeniably great bagels sell out almost daily. Not only are the bagels great, but this location is also an awesome place to hang out.

The Thinking Cup offers customers the “best coffee in the world” from Portland Oregon. With three locations-the outskirts of the Boston Common, the Back Bay, and the North End- the cafe has more to offer than just coffee. From breakfast sandwiches to croissants to scones, Thinking Cup is exactly what you want from a cafe.

Mike and Patty’s is located in Bay Village. As Boston’s highest rated breakfast and sandwich shop, Mike and Patty’s will not disappoint. Their focus on serving the highest quality ingredients in their sandwiches explains why Boston Magazine’s Best of Boston awarded them with the best breakfast sandwich in 2014.

If you have time for a sit-down meal, make sure The Galley Diner in South Boston is on your list of places to go. Named “Best Diner” by Boston Magazine in 2013 and 2014, the small breakfast joint is a must try.
